Links Course
The Links Course at Emporda, as its name suggests, is heavily influenced by the seaside courses of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Cut through the dunes and lakes of the natural environment, the Links will demand creativity and the use of every club in the bag. At 6,746 yards, the course demands powerful striking as well as imagination, and is a true joy to play.

Forest Course
Emporda's second course is by no means an inferior track. The Forest is certainly a different proposition, but is equally as enjoyable. The course is Mediterranean is style, with rolling fairways carved out of the pine trees indigenous to the landscape, taking in the expansive lakes that can certainly wreak havoc with your score card.

Since its inauguration, Emporda has received many plaudits, but two highlights stand out; in the late 1990s it was included in the list of Spain's top ten courses, while in 1996, the ‘Peugeot Golf Guide' named it 13^th best for design in all of continental Europe.

Emporda's two courses are home to a network of lakes, which certainly add much to the resort's aesthetic appeal, but they will also claim many a golf ball, so be sure to stock up!

The Emporda Resort is home to a superb modern hotel, which is without doubt one of the most stylish in the Girona region. The hotel opened to a fanfare in 2006, and provides excellent 4* hospitality in its 87 bedrooms. The resort has super facilities, and is also on the doorstep of the golf courses, adding total convenience to the luxury and comfort that pervades the whole resort. With easy access to the golf courses and the fascinating town of Girona, Emporda is without doubt a good all-round choice for your next golf or leisure holiday in Spain's North-East.

The Emporda Golf Resort has a lovely outdoor swimming pool, well-equipped gymnasium and fitness centre, paddle and tennis courts and a full-size football pitch. Alternatively, if you are feeling tight, have a massage to wash away all the tension away.

Emporda's elegant dining room is known for its simple but sumptuous Mediterranean cuisine, utilising the best local produce whenever possible.
