GOLF D'ARCANGUES
Golf d’Arcangues is a family project that owes thanks to Guy and Jean d’Arcangues, whose historic chateau is surrounded by beautiful scenic grounds. The duo presented the idyllic landscape to Ronald Fream, the celebrated American course architect, and his creation, opened in the early 1990s, has become one of the stars of the region.
Just ten minutes from the heart of Biarritz, the golf course spans the beautiful landscape, which is studded with majestic oaks and presents outstanding views of the surrounding area. For a championship course in the modern era, Arcangues is relatively short, but Fream’s considerable skill has resulted in a really engaging layout.
This Basque country classic is a firm fixture in the Biarritz landscape, teaming up with delights such as Moliets, and Seignosse to produce a truly memorable golf tour.
