In 2007, Menaggio and Cadenabbia celebrated its centenary, and is one of the most established courses in all of Italy. At the turn of the century, Lake Como was a preferred holiday destination for the elite of British society, and one of them, a banker named Henry John Mylius, decided that the area would greatly benefit from a top quality golf course.

The course as it is now reflects the extensive redesign efforts completed in 1965 by Englishman John Harris, and is a terrific par-70, set in a valley with towering mountains serving as the backdrop.
At 6,023 yards, Menaggio and Cadenabbia is not the longest, but there are severe undulations to negotiate, and a number of testing holes. This charming course reflects the amazing natural beauty of mountainous Northern Italy, and comes highly recommended as part of a golf escape to Lake Como.
