Blackmoor is certainly among the finest courses that Hampshire has to offer, and comes highly recommended for inclusion in a golf tour around the south coast. The course itself was mapped out by Harry Colt in 1913, and is a classic heathland course in the purest sense.

Colt is a designer whose portfolio includes untouchables like Sunningdale’s Old Course, but Blackmoor is a great opportunity to experience an outstanding Colt layout at excellent value.
High profile events have come to Blackmoor throughout its existence, including regional Open qualifying between 1998 and 2003, and the course is maintained in spectacular condition throughout the year.
Spanning a delightful stretch of land that is peppered with purple heather and lined with mature woodland, Blackmoor is a gem, and is a classic Colt design that can make a golf tour in Hampshire that little bit special.
