We thoroughly enjoyed our golf weekend at Ufford Park Hotel, Golf & Spa and are looking forward to the next one. Everything was lovely, including the weather, how lucky were we?

I will be in touch shortly.

Thanks for your assistance which helped to keep everything smooth running.

Valerie

My wife and daughter had a weekend in London, my son and I had a weekend at Ufford Park Hotel, Golf & Spa- and we were the winners!

The course was what I can best describe as an old fashioned British course. Lots of water not in the American style, acres and acres of it, but ponds discretely placed with connecting streams so you really had to manage your way around the course to avoid them. Then there were holes for the big hitters, 450 yard par 4 or 560 yard par five, yet there were still holes where the driver was not necessary and a three wood or recovery club was the preferred choice. A few hills for variation, out of bounds lucking on others, and a good watering hole half way around. What more could you ask for.

The hotel was right on the mark. Bedrooms were spacious and had all the necessary amenities - and the food! Dinner was a choice from the set menu or a la carte, with neither the quality nor quantity being compromised. When we saw it was a buffet breakfast, we thought it would be the usual cross croissant and jam but none of it. Full English for the brave hearted or a healthy version for the ladies. Had we had more time, we would even have given the spa a try out, but without over doing the exercise as you can have too much of a good thing you know.

Coming from Hertfordshire, Suffolk was new territory for us, but what a charming county and how easy to get there.

I booked my weekend just a couple of weeks in advance but Your Golf Travel sorted out the details without any fuss. And value for money! We had change from our budget; my wife came back penniless from hers.

Would we go again? You bet yer!

Score? 9 out of 10, one point lost due to a bit of sleet, but then I can't expect you to have full control of the weather as well.
