Upton By Chester Golf Club is just a couple of minutes from the town centre which has helped it become one of the most popular choices for golf tours around the city. It is also a favourite thanks to an excellent parkland golf course.

The club was founded in 1934 and since then the course has matured superbly; described by many as a jewel in the crown of Cheshire golf, Upton is a rich parkland layout with a good variation of holes.
Tree-lined fairways place an emphasis on accuracy from the tee, while the greens are constructed according to USGA specifications, which helps to ensure that they remain in excellent condition year round.
