The parkland layout is undulating, and visiting golfers must negotiate the testing greens, which are guarded by deep, strategically-placed sand traps. The condition of the course is further embellished by the fact that the tees and greens are built along USGA guidelines. The highlight of a round at Hollins Hall is the inspiring 14th, which is named after the spectacular viaduct that towers above.
The course demands sounds tactical thinking to score well, but even if the scorecard is torn up, Holins Hall and its beautiful surroundings will ensure an enjoyable game.
