The neighbouring La Sella Golf Resort is home to an excellent course, designed by José Maria Olazabal, twice a winner of the US Masters and a Ryder Cup legend.
The 6,877 yard layout has quickly established a fantastic reputation both locally in the Costa Blanca region, and also further afield, testament to which is the award of a number of high-profile tournaments. The course is located adjacent to the Montgó Nature Park, and the magnificent pine trees and orange groves of the landscape help to contribute to a stunning golfing experience.
La Sella has unveiled plans to add a further nine holes to its resort, which would only underline how great a choice it is on your golfing holiday on the Costa Blanca.
The latest technology is utilised at La Sella's comprehensive golf academy, ideal for working on a few swing thoughts, or alternatively you can tap into the vast technical knowledge of the resident PGA professionals, who will be delighted to provide some expert instruction.

Head for Hoyo 19 after your round, where you can enjoy a few beers and dissect the day's golf.
The Andra-Mari is among Alicante's best restaurants, specialising in authentic Basque classics, and also has a renowned wine cellar.
Valencia's finest eatery is Ca'Sento, where head chef Maria has earned a Michelin star for her outstanding seafood creations.
Within the resort you can try the classic Mediterranean cuisine of the Brasserie Montgó and the Seguria Restaurant, or for drinks and snacks try the Poolside Bar, Lobby Bar or the intimate Jazz & Blues Bar.
