The golf club at Waterlooville was founded back in 1905, but it was not until 1976 that the legendary Henry Cotton laid out the course as it is now.

The course is well-known for its slick putting surfaces, while with no fewer than five par-5s, the longer hitters have a distinct advantage. This is most evident on the signature 13th hole, which measures a fearsome 556 yards; on route to the green, golfers will have to negotiate both a stream and a pond.
Waterlooville is a golfing institution of the region, and Cotton's revisions have made the course even more enjoyable than ever. Be sure to include it in your next golfing adventure in Hampshire or around the city of Portsmouth.
