Witney Lakes is a superbly equipped modern golfing complex, located conveniently just West of Oxford, making it an ideal choice for golf break or golf tour groups based in the city centre. Noted for a number of challenging dog-leg holes, and the obvious water hazards that its name suggests, the golf course at Witney Lakes Resort measures 6,500 yards at its full length, and represents a challenging prospect, but one that is approachable for all types of golfers.
Designer Simon Gidman, who has been responsible for international projects based in Europe and further afield, has succeeded in creating a much admired layout which is perfect for societies, as well being hugely enjoyable for golf breaks starting in nearby Oxford.
