Wynyard Golf Club is home to a fine parkland golf course, located in between Newcastle and Middlesbrough. The 18-hole championship layout is better known by many as the Wellington Course, and is maturing into a good test of golf.

The parkland estate sets the stage for a beautiful round of golf, and the course itself is a good challenge for players of all abilities. The putting surfaces are maintained in impeccable condition, and the layout itself is comprised of some fascinating holes.
Dog-legs and tricky short holes are characteristic of the Wynyard Club, which is an interesting option to include in a golf tour of the Durham area.
