Your Golf Travel.com is going back to its roots to take on city traders – and one lucky golfer will win a place to play on the company’s team at Celtic Manor.
Ross Marshall and Andrew Harding, the founders of Europe’s largest golf travel company, both had successful careers in the City before launching Your Golf Travel.com and now want to show their former colleagues they can be as successful on the fairways as off of it.
The Your Golf Travel.com Cup will be contested in a series of events throughout the year and on each occasion the golf travel specialists will take on a different company from within the Square Mile or Canary Wharf.
The matchplay contest will see players from each team go head to head in 12 singles matches – an identical format to the final day of the Ryder Cup – and Your Golf Travel.com has put a place on its team up for grabs.
To be part of the Your Golf Travel.com side taking on Merrill Lynch in the inaugural event at Celtic Manor on Saturday, August 6, all golfers have to do is email samk@yourgolftravel.com with the answer to the following question: Who secured the winning point at the 2010 Ryder Cup?
One lucky golfer will be drawn from the correct entries and receive a place in the event and the chance to replicate Europe’s Ryder Cup heroics for themselves.
