Zaanse Golf Club

The course at Zaanse Golf Club offers a great challenge to golfers of all abilities, with narrow fairways demanding accuracy from the tee throughout the round. The course also offers great variety with holes on the front nine being flanked by trees before the course opens out to present a course reminiscent of a traditional links. Much of the course is utterly exposed to the elements and an all together different proposition to that of the early holes on the front nine. While wind is the main challenge at Zaanse, the course is also well defended by a number of water hazards which stem from one large, central lake. The condition of the course is generally top class and for those who like to warm up before taking to the fairways, there are ample practice facilities including a driving range as well as a good short game practice area. A frequent compliment paid to Zaanse is that the welcome is warm and welcoming, with members who are all too happy to share their course with travelling golfers.
