On The Perch (or Chairman)
We’re all familiar with skins, where you win a hole to take a skin, and if there’s no outright winner they roll over. On The Perch adds another layer – if a player wins a hole he goes On The Perch. Only when he’s on the perch can he win a skin, by winning the next hole outright. He stays on there until someone beats him on a hole. It is possible to spend much of a single round on the perch and still lose all of the money. Terrific, fun game.
