Opening just last year, this is Lisbon’s newest food court and also the city’s biggest fresh food market. There are 35 kiosks in the court offering the best in portuguese local food. A must go to. Ideal for large groups and families. Open till 2 am on the weekends.

The Nun’s Canteen

This is a undiscovered spot not even known by the locals. A lovely place for lunch with sea views from the roof terrace. Good prices with a main course from just €6.50, perfect place for a bargain lunch.

Frangasqueira Nacional

Popular with the locals and is not yet too touristy. It is a takeaway only, and is known for having queues, so it’s best to get their early when it opens at 7pm. A barbecue grill where you get to see your food made right in front of you.

Sommelier Lisbon

The ‘Wine Restaurant’ offers an impressive selection of wines which will go nicely with a Portuguese steak.
