Take away Woods and previous winners Mickelson & Vijay Singh and Sergio Garcia could be seen as the favourite, he took a major step forward in winning The Players Championship this year and has good experience of Oakland Hills going unbeaten in five matches at the 2004 Ryder Cup.
But there also seems a good chance of a first time winner of a Major this Sunday, so can Lee Westwood or Ian Poulter continue their good form of previous outings this year.
