As if avoiding the water the hole way up the right wasn’t enough of a challenge, the green justs out into the sea, giving players very little to aim at wityh their approach.

Altos de Chavon is a replica of a 16th century Mediterranean village and is a charming place to shop, enjoy a quick drink or an evening meal while overlooking the Chavon River below.

The par 3s on Dye Fore are particular highlights of this excellent course. Many of them require a well struck long iron to reach the green, some of which are perched on the edge of the cliffs that fall away into the Chavon River below.

The Marina at Casa de Campo is a great place to enjoy an evening meal. With a number of restaurants on-site, there is plenty of choice to suite all tastes.

As you may imagine there are plenty of flashy toys docked at the marina, some of which can be hired to whisk you off to a private island for the day.
