Have travelled far and wide to be able to contribute to the 19th hole blog. Often referred to as one of the most boring people in golf due to my facts and figures about different destinations!

I played here earlier in the year and can safely say all the hype surrounding the course is more than justified. Although the green fee is slightly more than you’d normally pay, the service, quality of course and that you get range balls and buggies included make it well worth it. When we played it bucketed it down on the 11th hole, after taking some refuge under a tree we saw the pro coming out on a buggy who gave us towels to dry off with – have played plenty of courses in the rain before and never had that! Have to say the properties look very impressive and sell for millions of euros so at £349 for that package it is a bargain. Will be booking for my next golf holiday in February to Monte Rei.

I played last year and enjoyed what was undoubtedly one of the best golfing experiences of my life. Although expensive on the drinks side the golf was worth all of the £100 I paid. Service was 5 star and the godess who emerged from the trees bearing iced towels was spectacular! Fully reccomend the course and will be booking a villa soon.
