The host venue of the 2015 Irish Open, considered by many to be one of the best courses in the world, this Northern Ireland beauty combines stunning vistas with fantastic playability. Founded in 1889 (the full course was ready for play in July 1890), County Down has enjoyed design advice and alterations from some of the very best in the game including Old Tom Morris, James Braid, Harry Vardon, Harry Colt and most recently Donald Steele to become the golfing giant it is now.
