Eddie Hackett’s original 1973 design has since been re-mastered by Tom Fazio, whose numerous projects have included having a hand in the current form of the likes of Augusta National and the world’s best golf course; Pine Valley. Almost totally surrounded by the sea, Waterville boasts an enviable location, with views of the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks to the northeast and across Ballinskelligs Bay and the Atlantic Ocean to the southwest.
