The Open Championship delivered something special this year. Despite the days delay, a thrilling Monday finish saw Zach Johnson emerge victorious in a three-way playoff alongside 2010 winner Louis Oosthuizen and Australian Marc Leishman.

Jordan Spieth came ever so close to winning a historic treble, finishing one shot behind the leaders and he will cast his mind back to his four-putt on the eighth green which cost him his first Claret Jug. One thing is for certain, Spieth will have many more majors in the coming years.
