Murcia is a region on the south eastern coast of Spain, home to many well known golfing resorts including the likes of La Manga and Mar Menor. Cathedral de Santa Maria
The Cathedral de Santa Maria has to be on the list when in Murcia. Spain is known for many beautiful cathedrals and Santa Maria is one of them; stunning interiors and impressive architecture. The cathedral is combined with a really good museum and is definitely worth a visit.
El Faro de Cabo de Palos
A modern lighthouse but provides a lovely place for stroll by the sea, enjoying the Mediterranean sea breeze and gorgeous views of the La Manga strip. When the weather is good you can enjoy a swim at the beach or enjoy a drink at the several bars and cafes along the strip.
Las Charcas Mud Baths
This is a great place to visit that is absolutely free. Spend quality time with family and friends while having lots of fun. The idea is simple, get covered in mud, and then wash off in the salty water, which does wonders in clarifying and cleaning skin.
Mar Menor Beach
A very popular beach in the region of Murcia with many beach front bars, cafes and restaurants, where you can enjoy some local tapas while looking out on to the Mediterranean sea. There are plenty of water sports activities to also enjoy whilst at the beach, or if you just want to relax, hire a beach chair and enjoy the sun.
