{"id":16615,"date":"2013-07-09T09:20:48","date_gmt":"2013-07-09T08:20:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.yourgolftravel.com\/19th-hole\/?p=16615"},"modified":"2014-12-19T14:03:13","modified_gmt":"2014-12-19T13:03:13","slug":"drive-it-like-bubba-american-golf-course-to-use-hovercraft-golf-carts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yourgolftravel.com\/19th-hole\/drive-it-like-bubba-american-golf-course-to-use-hovercraft-golf-carts\/","title":{"rendered":"Drive It Like Bubba &#8211; American Golf Course To Use Hovercraft Golf Carts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>You might not ever be able to drive a ball like Bubba Watson, but now you can drive a hovercraft golf cart around the course just like the 2012 Masters Champion!<\/p>\n<p>Back in April, of this year, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yourgolftravel.com\/19th-hole\/2013\/04\/03\/bubba-watson-and-the-coolest-golf-cart-in-the-world\/\"><strong>Bubba released a viral video<\/strong><\/a> which showed him floating along the fairways in what he called a \u2018Bubba Craft\u2019 \u2013 he even hovered over the courses water hazards.<\/p>\n<p>However, good news for us regular folks is that this one-of-a-kind \u2018golf cart\u2019 is no longer one\u2013of-a-kind, as Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield, Ohio, will be the first golf club in the world to have, not one, but two hovercraft carts accessible for you and I.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to be able to offer something no other course could,\u201d said Pete Duffey, the course\u2019s managing director. \u201cA way to further put Windy Knoll Golf Club on the map of public destination golf courses. It was an easy decision.
