Dubai World Cup<\/h5>\n

The $30 million Dubai World Cup takes place on the final weekend in March every year and is the biggest sporting and social event in Dubai. Based at the unique, state-of-the-art Meydan Racecourse (which houses its own golf course!), where the Grandstand measures 1 mile in length, the Dubai World Cup is brought to a spectacular close by the world\u2019s richest horse race; the $10m Dubai World Cup, won in 2016 by California Chrome.<\/p>\n

Prix de L\u2019Arc de Triomphe & Le Golf National<\/h5>\n

Europe\u2019s richest and most prestigious race, the Qatar Prix de l\u2019Arc de Triomphe takes place over the first weekend of October each year in Paris. The race attracts the greatest racehorses from around the world and usually takes place at the historic Longchamp racecourse, but due to $145m redevelopments currently taking place, the race will move to Chantilly for 2017.<\/p>\n
