Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas has the unique honour of being Spain’s oldest golf club, having initially been founded in 1891, in 1957 it moved to its current site where the 18-hole course was designed by Mackenzie Ross. The course begins by skirting along the edge of the volcanic crater, moving further inland as you play. The views are stunning, from various points on the course you can see the Gran Canaria highlands, the Caldera crater and the northern coast. Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas plays as a challenging but very enjoyable test of golf, whilst not the longest course, narrow fairways and small greens means your accuracy needs to be on form to score low.
