The course sympathetically takes in the protected natural woodland of the Shournagh Valley, and has been designed in the style of a modern resort course; there is a range of tees to suit golfers of all standards and physiques, not just those who strike the ball like Long John.
Daly's first project in Europe is a credit to him, and is a great addition to Cork's wonderful golfing landscape. The greens are certainly among the best & most unique in Ireland.
John Daly has also designed Wicked Stick in South Carolina, which features the ‘Daly Tees', and challenges you to grip it and rip it.
