Would have been a really good weekend (sun/Mon) - if the place wasn't closing for a year on the Monday. So yes we played golf - but then had no drink, no food, nowhere to even give prizes as golf club full of staff having goodbye party. Not interested in us, would not allow us to even use any space there so ended up prize giving with dry throats and empty stomachs in a car park!!. Such a shame as food and drink great on the Sunday and course always a challenge. Very poor service on Monday and should never have agreed to have groups if not willing to serve them. Very, very disappointed we were not told in advance. All i got from any staff I asked about situation was a shrug - we are closing, many losing jhobs, why should we care about you.....
A golf break at Heythrop Park offers more than just an exceptional round of golf. Heythrop Park Hotel is an elegantly designed establishment that boasts comfortable lounges and lively bars.
The resort encompasses a variety of accommodation, ranging from Cosy rooms for solo travellers to luxurious Mansion rooms in the Manor House. We recommend that golfers book the popular Deluxe rooms located closest to the golf facilities. Additionally, guests can indulge in legendary breakfasts, three-course evening dining, a selection of daytime activities such as archery and rifle shooting, leisure and spa facilities and it’s all in the price.
Following a round or two of golf, guests can take a dip in the pool, savor a delectable meal at one of three restaurants, and enjoy an evening filled with thrilling live entertainment.
