El Encin Golf Club

Designed by architects Von Hagge, Smelek and Baril – creators of numerous top class golf courses in Europe including the stunning Les Bordes and 2018 Ryder Cup host Le Golf National – El Encin is a monster from the back tees with a total yardage that exceeds the 7,500 yard mark! Fear not though as an additional five teeing positions on each hole mean the course can be managed by all, with a minimum length of 5,400 yards.

With the Humosa Saints Mountains providing a dramatic backdrop, golfers can enjoy a relatively open course where course management is the name of the game. Plenty of bunkers are within reach from the tee so drives must be well considered and with heavily contoured greens that are protected by more strategically placed traps, not to mention the occasional water hazard, approach shots should err on the safe side.
