Rated top or second by three of us, El Paraiso was a good start to our week. Good fairways with lots of palm trees, and it took a bit of time to get used to the grass, but it was a fairly level course and a decent test of golf to start. Buggies were €40 each which was more than we were used to, but we were pleased to have them and they were allowed on the fairways. The restaurant in the clubhouse was pleasant and overlooked the 18th green. Staff were universally friendly and efficient.
Located near Estepona and Marbella, El Paraiso Golf Club is an established Gary Player Design. With a reputation of being one of the friendliest clubs on the Costa Del Sol and the backdrop of La Concha mountain you are sure to have and memorable round.
Golfers playing here can expect almost year round sunshine courtesy of the stunning Andalucian weather with over 300 days of sun a year and a golf course that uses the many trees, lakes, streams and natural undulations to create a challenge that is great for a range of handicaps. A popular choice when playing golf in Southern Spain, many head back to El Paraiso year after year to enjoy this fair, yet challenging, par-71.
