Ile Aux Cerfs is the number 1 ranked golf course in Mauritius. Opening in 2003 it has matured wonderfully meandering through the natural mangroves and craggy volcanic rocks that formed the island. Beautiful white sandy beaches flank the outskirts of the course which is only accessible by a speedboat or a helicopter.
Le Chateau Course at Heritage Golf Club is a wonderful Peter Matkovich design. The generous fairways allow every level of golfer to enjoy the course, however the numerous water hazards and risk reward holes challenge the best. The course has hosted the DP World Tour in 2015 and 2017 and is constantly looked at as the best condition course on the island. The clubhouse serves excellent food so do not rush back to the hotel after your round.
Anahita Golf Course is an Ernie Els championship course built on an old sugar plantation. The course flows through the natural hilly terrain incorporating stone walls and the rugged coastline. The six oceanside holes are spectacular and will make you want to reach for your camera. The short 17th is one of the prettiest par 3’s you will find anywhere in the world.
