Prague is a magical city, and is now one of Europe's most visited capitals. This is down to a number of factors; the city's monumental skyline is created by the extraordinary architecture, borne from the Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Art Nouveau, Cubist and Functionalist movements.
The city is also famed for its nightlife, ranging from fantastic pubs, founded on the outstanding local Czech beer and wine from Moravia, to endless dance floors and clubs for both ladies and gentlemen - a particular hit with the stag and hen parties. The buzzing atmosphere of Prague is aided by some emerging golf courses, so why not combine championship golf with all the incredible sights and sounds of the Czech Republic's incredible capital?
A golf break to the capital of the Czech Republic includes taking in some of Europe’s finest architecture. Golf holidays in Prague are based in the heart of the city but the courses are set amongst the scenic Czech countryside.
Golf can be played at the Albatross Resort, the home of the European Tour’s Czech Masters, there are two championship layouts at Konopiste or the Jeremy Ford and Alex Cejka designed Prague City.
The Albatross sprawls over eighty hectares of mildly hilly terrain and has hosted European Tour and Ladies European Tour events.
Set against the backdrop of the Karlstejn Castle, the layout features forgiving fairways, but the changes in elevation make approaching the greens difficult.
Konopiste is within easy reach of Prague and boasting two par-72 championship courses, as well as a nine-hole academy course, making it the perfect golfing option for a trip to the Prague area.
