0800 043 6644Laid out by Irish golf course Architect Tom McCauley in 1988, it has since grown into a mature track showing real pedigree since the turn of the century, having been chosen to host the Challenge Tour in 2001 and 2002 as well as the ‘Alps Tour in 2010 and 2012.
Golf Club della Montecchia has 3 great 9 hole loops of golf, located in 82 hectares of countryside in the estate of Conti Emo Capodilista. The course is relatively flat; however this takes nothing away from the concentration and technical skill required by the golfer to avoid the various water hazards and bunkers which are strategically placed throughout the 27 holes of golf.
One of the brilliant things about Golf Club della Montecchia is the innovative drainage system which allows play to be possible even in the worst of weather conditions. This allows keen golfers to play all year round, come rain or shine, on a truly remarkable course.
The clubhouse houses the restaurant “La Montecchia”, in what was an old tobacco drying building, which is able to boast a Michelin star, awarded in 2010. Here you will be served some brilliantly balanced dishes which blend the style and cuisine of Alajmo local tradition, whilst focussing on quality locally sourced ingredients.
There is also a large swimming pool and tennis courts – so there’s plenty of activities to keep you occupied for a full day at Golf Club della Montecchia. Why not finish your day by watching the sun set over the breathtaking Euaganean Hills and the Garda Alps.
