The lads and I would like to YGT for another fantastic trip to Hollins Hall. Very good value for money! The course was very enjoyable, not to easy, too hard. The 19th hole Zest bar was £2.60 a pint with our 20% bar discount, thanks for organising that for us! We will certainly be booking many more trips with YGT. Thanks for the work you put in for us. We are already looking forward to Celtic Manor in 2014.

Our party of twelve aspiring golfers was delighted to find such a fantastic hotel and golf course at Marriott Hollins Hall Hotel & Country Club for our golf break, it was so close to the motorway network; the scenery around the course was stunning. The commissar & reception staff was extremely helpful and very welcoming.
The rooms were perfect with comfortable beds and all the accessories & condiments you expect from a top class hotel. Some of the group were keen to take advantage of the gym and spa facilities in preparation for some competition golf, they were not disappointed.
We all enjoyed a delicious 3 course dinner complimented with free wine and the comprehensive breakfast menu including eggs prepared to your liking by the resident chef set us up nicely for competition day. The golf shop staff were very accommodating and the hire of a golf buggy was almost a necessity to avoid slow play on what was for us seniors a tough course to traverse.
We appreciated the table service provided in the sports bar as we concluded our visit with a short presentation ceremony. All participants were extremely satisfied with the venue and departed with a promise to do it all again.
The golf course at Marriott Hollins Hall Hotel & Country Club for our golf break was very good, very long, very tiring, never seen so many hills, but we thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, Course was in good condition, one nice aspect was "half way house" when we had sausage sarnies and coffee before the second nine.
Bar was very good, beer was what we expected £3.80p which really wasn't too bad, good barman. Can’t fault the hotel, they were really nice and homely. Excellent staff and meals were very good indeed.
Hotel was easy to find and well signed. All in all, compared to other courses we have been to, we found it to be very good indeed, and marks out of ten we would give it nine.
Would certainly recommend the hotel to other persons - providing they are good at climbing hills (lol)
It’s not my turn to arrange next year’s venue, but we shall certainly bare YGT in mind and maybe arrange another "outing".
We booked a golf break to Hollins Hall through Your Golf Travel and the whole experience from the initial enquiry right through to the golf holiday itself was top notch.
The hotel was superb as there were ample facilities, great restaurants and of course a great golf course. The health club facilities like the sauna and the Jacuzzi were great for relaxing after a round of golf. We would recommend the Hollins Bar for everyday meals but Heathcliff’s Dining room must be sampled at least once. The breakfast we got as part of the golf break package was excellent.
The golf course was great but unfortunately we could only play one round (we had booked 36 holes) thanks to some seriously nasty weather. Disappointing but not the end of the world because there was plenty to do in the hotel. We were struck by the quality of the greens on the course and the layout itself is great.
All the staff from the waiting staff to the golf professional were very friendly and attentive.
Thanks very much Your Golf Travel for a great North West golf break.
