The Lodge at Pebble Beach sits at the heart of the Monterey Peninsula, a stretch of California coastline where dramatic Pacific views meet some of the world's most celebrated golf. This is the resort that has collected awards from Condé Nast Traveler and countless other publications, and for good reason. It's the gateway to playing Pebble Beach Golf Links, the bucket-list course that every golfer wants to tick off, and staying here is your ticket to teeing it up on those legendary fairways.
The key point for golfers is simple: to secure a tee time at Pebble Beach Golf Links, staying at a Pebble Beach Resorts property is typically part of the package, so The Lodge is the obvious choice if you want to keep everything straightforward. The Lodge is the most iconic of the lot, positioned right on the course itself. You wake up, stroll over and suddenly you're on the first tee with Carmel Bay right there in front of you. For most golfers, that's a proper 'pinch me' start to the day.
The setting is as good as it gets. You're surrounded by the Del Monte Forest, with the Pacific crashing against the rocks below and the final green of Pebble Beach just moments from your door. This is where major championships are won and lost, where legends have walked, and where you'll find yourself following in their footsteps. The Lodge captures all of that history and drama, wrapping it up in a luxurious, welcoming package that feels both grand and genuinely comfortable.

The rooms and suites at The Lodge blend traditional style with serious comfort. Many look straight out over Carmel Bay, giving you front-row seats to one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the US. Inside, you'll find log-burning fireplaces in many rooms, warm tones and fittings that feel luxurious without being over the top. After a round, you can settle in, pour a drink and replay every shot with the ocean as your backdrop.
Rooms range from guest rooms with garden or partial ocean views through to suites overlooking Carmel Bay. Some rooms look out over the course, while ocean-view options lean into the Pacific scenery. Many rooms include a fireplace, plush bedding and the sort of small touches that make it feel like a classic golf hotel rather than a generic resort. Suites add separate living areas, larger balconies or patios, and in some cases, panoramic views that take in both the golf course and the ocean.
The Lodge sits just a short walk from the 18th green at Pebble Beach, one of the most photographed and iconic finishing holes in golf. That proximity isn't just convenient, it's part of the experience. You're right in the middle of it all, with the course, the coastline and the resort's facilities all within easy reach.
The newly refurbished Beach & Tennis Club is located oceanside and offers 12 tennis courts, a first-class gym, fitness suite, swimming pool and sun deck. If you're looking for something more restorative, the Spa at Pebble Beach is tucked away in the Del Monte Forest, a quiet retreat where you can unwind properly after a day on the course.
Dining at The Lodge covers every mood and occasion. Club XIX is the formal option, serving exquisite cuisine in an elegant setting. The Tap Room is the golfers' choice, a bar and grill that strikes the right balance between quality and relaxed atmosphere. Then there's The Bench, a contemporary al-fresco spot with views over the 18th hole and the Pacific. It's award-winning food in a setting that reminds you exactly why you came to Pebble Beach in the first place.
The Lodge understands golfers. Early tee times mean early breakfasts, and the resort accommodates that. Club storage, practice facilities and direct access to the course make logistics simple. You're here to play great golf, and everything about The Lodge is set up to make that as seamless as possible.

Our rooms were awesome! We had 2 of the closet rooms to the 18th green on the ground floor and were blown away by whole set up
