The hotel was comfortable and clean. We checked in early evening and found that the dining room was closed so went out to find somewhere to eat. Sunday in Leeds is not a lively place and we didn't find a place to eat until 22.40 - probably our fault looking in the wrong places. Breakfast was average but well served.
Situated on the corner of Swinegate & The Calls, the Malmaison Leeds is only a short distance from the city’s vibrant nightlife, famed for live music venues and bars under reformed railway arches. There are many more things to do whilst visiting this Yorkshire city, including a visit to Kirkgate Market and the Royal Armouries – the oldest museum in the UK.
Those looking for a round of golf are in for a treat, the first Ryder Cup on British soil was held on the outskirts of the city centre.
