Measuring just shy of 6,000 yards against a par of 69, Milford Golf Club is a regular stop for local PGA events as well as being a testing layout for the members who enjoy the course week in week out. Whilst the length might not seem particularly testing, the course has taken advantage of the natural undulations, as well as streams and ponds throughout the course to provide a good test for all levels of golfer.The short holes in particular are of strong interest at Milford with the 17th hole catching a particular eye. Despite only measuring 110 yards water awaits for any offline shot towards the island green.
With the like of Farnham, Guildford and a number of picturesque market towns within easy reach of Milford Golf Club, this is a fantastic place to explore as part of a golf tour. Any golfer playing Milford Golf Club for the first time should look to buying a course planner with lots of doglegs and blind tee shots coming into play. When playing the par-5 18th hole, take on as much as you can off the right dogleg for a shorter approach but beware of any miss timed shot as it’ll take par off the card and maybe worse.
