The Severiano Ballesteros designed golf course opened in 2004 and blends harmoniously with the local landscape. The layout is extremely natural, respecting the existing ecosystems whilst integrating the local plants and existing lakes.

The course is located on the smallest inhabited island in the Madeira Archipelago, but unlike Madeira, Porto Santo, which means “blessed port”, has a 9km golden sandy beach and provides year-round golf in a temperate mild climate.
