Real Club de Golf Guadalmina sits in the heart of Spain's stunning Costa Del Sol, a heaven for any golf lover. The layout consists of two championship golf courses and the short academy course, underlining its status as one of Andalucia's most comprehensive quality golf resorts.
The stunning South course consists of wide fairways, winding through the shadows of the ancient trees, looking immaculate all year round. The North course is a little easier than it's neighbour which is great for the slightly higher handicapper, the wide fairways allow for the more wayward golfer to still be hitting from the fairway with their approaches.

0800 043 6644The South Course at Guadalmina is the second oldest in the Marbella area, and has established an enviable reputation, attracting visitors back year after year. The South is a challenging layout, but the good selection of tees makes it playable for golfers of all abilities. Accuracy from the tee is crucial as the fairways wind through the array of private houses and gardens that border the property. The signature hole is the demanding 14th, which is banked by mature pine trees and protected by strategically positioned bunkers.

Guadalmina's North Course is not as challenging as the South, and is a great resort course for the average player. The fairways are relatively forgiving, allowing golfers to hit the driver from most tees. The most notable feature is the Guadalmina River, which winds its way through the course.
Hole 11 (South Course), 158 metres (173 yards), SI 14
One of the prettiest holes in Southern Spain, the South’ signature hole hugs the Mediterranean coastline on the beachfront. There is a large bunker covering the face of the green, but if you are able to overcome this you are greeted with more stunning views

The nine-hole Campo Corto course is the ideal place for beginners and youngsters to pick up the game, and is also useful for sharpening your short game skills.
Nice course to play with very good clubhouse facilities.
Average check in experience Decent golf if not great
No where near as good as the south course. If we stop at Guadalmina again then we'll ask to play the south course all days. Condition and layout not at good as it's sister course. The only part I would rush back for if the halfway house. Definitely the best I've ever been to!
Lovely course, although greens not perfect. Staff and food at the cafe were excellent, starter very welcoming etc. A good range of holes and particularly the ones around the seafront are superb.
Very enjoyable testing but not too difficult. Well organised with a friendly starter.
Areas around fine if the greens were poor
Better challenge and variation than south course. Really enjoyed it.
Spoiled by 4ball in front who didn't bother that they were miles behind.
A nice test of golf worth playing
Very good course quite long and tight but a good challenge
Overalls very good
North course was closed for maintenance so played 2 rounds on the South. On both occasions, some maintenance was also being done so had to play on a couple of temporary greens. Challenging course played off the '58' tees but some nice holes. Greens not the best.
There were so many houses and cars nearby the courses. And the worst thing is that I cannot easily find the next holes. To go to the next hole, sometimes I have to cross the car roads. And if I miss the right way, the buggy stops, and I should wait for staffs. I also played at the north couse, but I don't want to go there again.
We played the South Course with another couple, one of whom was a member. The course is quite varied, partly within the town and also a couple of holes by the beach. Some tight fairways and the danger of a river along side some holes presented some challenges. The South Course is about 10 minutes walk from the pro-shop and practice area, so you need to allow sufficient time to reach the first tee. The course is fairly flat and compact enough that a buggy is unnecessary.
I've been lucky enough to play this course on quite a few occasions. It's a lovely but testing course and you have to give it full respect. One of the best value courses in the area.
Preferred this course to the south course, fairways were more forgiving and more scenic, greens were in better condition, as with the south course it had a well stocked halfway house.
A very good coarse greens were good down size we had to tee of on the eleventh tee.
On our first day on the course, we got round in 3 hours 20 minutes having been left through by some lovely Irishmen on the 4th (even running me back 100 yards in one of their buggies as we were on push trolleys). On our last day the Spanish mixed four ball took nearly 5 hours to go round and made no effort to let us through. You can imagine how frustrated we were having spent an hour and 40 minutes waiting. The Club does not have marshals so we could not ask to be let through.
Guadalimina are greedy. They send four balls out at 8 minute intervals. If a four ball takes 10 minutes to play a par 3, the second team loses 2 minutes, the third 4 etc. I thing we were out about 37th, so this would cost us 72 minutes and yes we probably had to wait 72 minutes. Your Golf Travel should point out to the Club and YGT's customers this way of cheating your customers.
Not as nice As south. Feel like packed it in around all the buildings and roads.
Best course between the two available in our opinion good clubhouse nice meals and good service.
