River Hall was Love’s first effort in Florida and it remains one of his best courses to date. The 2012 Ryder Cup captain’s design philosophy is that "modern courses should be designed in a traditional manner, with emphasis on strategy and playability, and where creativity is reflected in the subtleties of design detail." This is exactly what you get at River Hall.
Strategy is indeed of paramount importance around river Hall thanks to ever present expanses of water, well placed bunkers and punishing rough should you stray too far from the tee. Measuring over 7,000 yards from the tips, this course has more than enough about it to challenge even the most talented players while remaining playable for less experienced golfers thanks to no less than five sets of tees.
Expect immaculate conditioning all year round and a thoroughly enjoyable test of golf from start to finish that is supplemented by superb practice facilities including a three hole short course; perfect for sharpening up around the greens before heading out to tackle the main attraction.
