Scottish Lowlands Golf Breaks

The Scottish Lowlands are a region undiscovered by many but present some true golfing gems at some of the best value you will find in Scotland.

The area is easily accessed by Northern England as well as Glasgow and is a perfect place to play and enjoy if you are working your way up to the nearby Ayrshire Coast for a more extended golfing tour.

Golf in the Scottish Lowlands

Southerness Golf Club is the regions most renowned course and is one of the top 100 courses in the UK & Ireland and has hosted many top amateur events. Southerness is located on the shores of Solway Firth with brilliant views across the course which also features its famously slick greens. Powfoot Golf Club which also has views of the Solway Firth was designed by James Braid over a hundred years ago and is a classic links with charming Scottish quirk.
