Although the golf courses at Tahquitz Creek share the same stunning patch of desert landscape, the challenges they offer are very different.

Legend Course

The Legend Course was originally laid down in the 1950s by William Bell and has long been a favourite amongst Palm Springs golfers. Recent renovations have improved the overall condition of the course as well as seeing some 40 new bunkers added to this challenging desert layout. A total length of just over 6,600 yards means the Legend Course isn’t overly long by modern standards but challenges await in the form of large water hazards, rugged desert terrain just off the fairways and sweeping undulations.

Resort Course

The Resort Course is the younger of the two layouts at Tahquitz Creek and yet it shares the same strong reputation as its older sibling. Measuring 6,705 yards from the tips, the Resort Course should be long enough to challenge the big hitters while 3 additional sets of tees mean the course can be enjoyed by a great variety of golfers. Many describe this course as a desert links and the firm and fast conditions are reminiscent of the great links courses of the UK & Ireland.

Amenities at the Arnold Palmer-managed Tahquitz Creek include a driving range, putting area and short game area where visiting golfers can enjoy golf lessons and clinics before heading out to tackle one of the courses.
