Travel Update
Coronavirus (COVID-19): countries and territories exempt from advice against ‘all but essential’ international travel.

The FCO has updated its global advisory against ‘all but essential’ travel, exempting destinations that no longer pose an unacceptably high risk for British travellers.

Please see an updated list of countries on the Gov UK website.

We are working through all of our bookings that have been impacted by the COVID-19 situation.

If your trip is affected, we will contact Customers with bookings that are due to depart within the next 7 days. Our phone lines remain open and we are here to help. We are dealing with a large number of phone calls and queries so we apologise for any delay in response you may receive.

Travel Update

Whilst our phone lines do remain open, our Customer Service teams are dealing with a large number of phone calls and queries so we apologise for any delays in response you receive.

Due to a high volume of requests, we will now only contact customers with bookings that are due to depart within the next 7 days. If your booking is more than 7 days away from departure, we ask, kindly, that you do not call. This will enable us to deal with requests promptly and go through all available options for current and future travel with customers.

Travel Update
In light of new travel restrictions & FCO advice in place regarding international travel, we understand that you will have questions regarding your travel arrangements.

We have successfully repatriated all customers who were overseas and have had conversations with all customers due to travel in March and April.

Due to a high volume of requests, we will now only contact customers with bookings that are due to depart within the next 7 days. If your booking is more than 7 days away from departure, we ask, kindly, that you do not call. This will enable us to deal with requests promptly and go through all available options for current and future travel with customers.

8th April 2020:
Travel Update
On the 17th March a global "against all but essential travel" restriction was introduced by the Foreign Secretary for an initial period of 30 days. The Foreign and Commonwealth office released a press statement to confirm that the FCO is extending the advice against travelling overseas for an indefinite period, which is a standardised approach.

We are currently assisting customers that are due to travel imminently. We are aware of specific airlines and suppliers who have cancelled their services that will affect forward bookings and are in touch with them daily. If your booking has been affected we will make contact with you. We are currently doing this in a date departure order.

Due to an increased number of calls we would ask if you are not travelling in the next 2 weeks to not call us, we will be aware if your booking is affected and be in contact shortly.

The Masters
Augusta National Golf Club has identified November 9-15 as the intended dates to host the 2020 Masters. We will be in contact with you over the next week to reconfirm your trip.

The Open
Following the R&A's recent announcement postponing the 149th staging of The Open Championship at Royal St. Georges, all ticket, hospitality and/or hotel travel packages for this event will automatically be transferred to the new event dates 11-18 July 2021.

30th March 2020:
Customer Service Update - easyJet
Following updates on easyJet and the grounding of their planes until further notice. We are now working through those travelling in the next 30 days whose plans are impacted.

To assist us in working through this level of activity, please do not call at this time. As soon as we have addressed all the queries for current or imminent travellers, we will be returning to a normal level of service.

As soon as we have addressed all the queries for current or imminent travellers, we will be returning to a normal level of service.

Customer Service Update

15th March 2020:
Spain & US Update
As you may now be aware, overnight the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) advised against travel to both Spain & the USA, due to the restrictions the respective governments have Imposed as a response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

We are contacting clients currently in resort with repatriation plans and changes to return flight details.

For those clients due to travel in the next few days, our Customer Support team, are/will be in touch with options. This we will be doing in a priority and chronological order, so we are grateful for your patience during this challenging time.

Morocco Update
Morocco has closed its air and sea borders to the UK and Gibraltar originating aircraft and vessels. UK citizens have until 1pm on 16th March to leave the country.

Our priority is our clients in resort, and we have passed on details to the British Consulate for repatriation, and we will be in touch as soon as we know more.

For those clients due to travel in the next few days, our Customer Support team, are/will be in touch with options. This we will be doing in a priority and chronological order, so we are grateful for your patience during this challenging time.

14 March 2020:
Jet2.com Update
Jet2.com have cancelled all flights to and from Spain. We are working with the airline and authorities to establish an updated picture, and will update communications in due course.

Our immediate priority is to contact clients who are in resort or who are travelling in the next two weeks. If your booking is not due to travel between now and March 31st we would ask you NOT to contact our Customer Service helpline. Please email on cs@yourgolftravel.com instead and we will contact you later this week.

COVID-19 Update

In recent weeks the uncertainty surrounding the impact of COVID-19 or Coronavirus has become more pronounced. Here is a summary of our approach to managing this fast moving situation.

Our dedicated team continues to monitor the advice of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO), the World Health Organisation (WHO) and talk to our destination partners. We are constantly reviewing all policies and procedures ensuring that we give the best possible advice in line with the authorities, placing the health and wellbeing of our customers and team at the heart of our approach.

If there are no restrictions in place for the country that you are due to travel?
If there are no restrictions in place for the country that you are due to travel to, you should travel on your golf trip as planned.

We advise you to contact your insurance company immediately and seek further advice.

If the FCO advise against all but essential travel to a country I am in or due to visit?
If the FCO advises against all but essential travel to a country where Your Golf Travel has guests present or that are due to travel, the following contingencies are in place:

If you are in resort, you will be returned to the UK. Any travel restrictions currently in place do not prevent UK nationals returning home.

If you are due to travel in the coming weeks or months, we will be in touch to discuss the latest situation and options that would be available to you
