Celtic Manor Golf Courses Photo Guide

Celtic ManorCeltic Manor shot to fame as the 2010 Ryder Cup came to visit. The purpose built Twenty Ten Course was the scene for a truly dramatic match between the Europeans and the boys from the other side of the pond and the scenes we saw when Graeme McDowell holed the winning putt will stick long in the memory of any die hard golf fan. However it would be foolish to think the Twenty Ten Course is all that is on offer at Celtic Manor so here is a photo guide of the top golf resort in the UK.

The Resort Hotel that overlooks the 12th hole on the Roman Road Course.

The approach shot into the 10th green on the Roman Road Course…beware of the valley that is just out of sight from here!

The 5th hole on the Roman Road Course…WARNING: Aim for the right of the fairway!

The picturesque 10th green on the Montgomerie Course. Be sure to take enough club to clear that water!

In the valley on the Twenty Ten Course…purpose built for the Ryder Cup and a great golfing arena.

This picture shows how close the players were to each other during the Ryder Cup. They must have had a pretty good idea of what was going on in the other matches!

Not only is the Twenty Ten Course seriously long…huge water features lurk just off the fairways waiting to gobble up any stray golf balls.

In the summer evenings the Twenty Ten Course is a joy to behold. Book  a twighlight tee time for views like this.
