Onyria Palmares – Golf World Top 100 European Golf Courses

Since opening for play in 1975, Onyria Palmares has garnered considerable praise which has been supported by the fact that it has hosted numerous professional and prestigious amateur events as well as recently being added to the PGA Europro Tour circuit. Now it has recieved further recognition in a leading magazine’s recent publication of the Top 100 golf courses in Europe.

Nestled in the Western Algarve, the course boasts a stunning setting with views over Lagos Bay and out towards the Monchique Hills. Five of the holes traverse the coastline and are bordered by giant sand dunes which give this stretch of holes a distinct links feel while the remainder of the holes head inland, winding through the picturesque, tree-lined undulations of the estate’s higher ground.
