The 2016 Ryder Cup is only days away to get underway and as always the competitive and patriotic natures of players past and present is expected to overflow over the next few days. Of course this competitiveness and patriotism has lead to some of the best golf related quotes in history and well all love a good quote don’t we?!

Here are our favourites from years gone by…let’s hope there are a few more zingers thrown into the ring this week!
