Charley Hull claimed her 1st LPGA victory in The CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburon Golf Club, Naples, Florida.

Hull’s -19 total was good enough for a 2 shot victory over a world class field including World Number 1, Lydia Ko and Karrie Webb who recently broke through the $20,000,000 career earnings mark.

The win saw Hull’s earnings for the year swell to $1,114,295 courtesy of 5 Top 10 finishes and a career best Major finish of Tied 2nd at The ANA Inspiration in March.

Charley’s win was one of consistency, rounds of 67 and 70 were then matched by a weekend pair of 66’s to see Hull win over So Yeon Ryu who closed with a round of 67 but was left to rue a bogey on 17 against Hull’s birdie which effectively decided the title after a closely contested tournament.

The win saw Hull leap 11 places on the Rolex Rankings to a career high of 18th and is the 3rd highest European golfer behind Sweden’s Anna Nordqvist and Norway’s Suzann Pettersen.
