The balcony suites in the Carnoustie Hotel, which overlooks both the first tee and eighteenth green of the renowned Championship Course, will host the hospitality packages, which include options for individual guests or corporate and casual groups of up to thirty. All packages include morning refreshments, buffet luncheon, afternoon tea, draw sheets, programmes, parking pass and of course an entry ticket.
Defending champion Loren Roberts will be among the star studded field, featuring famous names from world golf over the past few decades. The smooth rolling American captured his second Senior Open Championship in dramatic fashion in 2009, outlasting Fred Funk and Mark McNulty in a playoff at Sunningdale.
The raw Carnoustie Golf Links will no doubt offer these golfing legends another opportunity to show off their skills, but the demanding seaside layout may prove to be more challenging than the lush Berkshire fairways of Sunningdale.
