This is the perfect location for a golf course, only two minutes away from the hotel, meaning that golfers can be on the first tee in no time. The course only opened in 1995 and is viewed as one of the premier golf clubs on the Costa Blanca.

Font Del Llop is a fantastic course right in the heart of the Alicante Provence. It was designed by Blake Stirling and Marco Martín who are both renowned golf architects having designed many courses throughout Spain as well as courses in Mexico and USA. The course may require some distance off the tee with a yardage of 6,900 Yards.

Alenda Golf

Alenda first opened in 1998 and is regarded as one of the finest championship layouts in the Alicante area. The course was designed and built by Roland Favrat who had high respect for the natural vegetation, wanting to avoid moving too much earth throughout the construction process. Alenda also is home to the Alenda Golf School, where group and individual lessons are available for all level of golfers. A 1 hour individual session will costs €39. If you think 1 hour is not long enough, you can purchase 10 hours of tuition for €335.

If you are on a budget, not to worry, why not go for the Alicante walking tour, where you can explore this fantastic city at a lower cost.  The tour lasts 3 hours and you will always be in a small group to ensure a more personal service. The tour will take you to the Santa Barbara Castle on Mount Benacantil where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the entire city. Not only that, you will also visit the co-cathedral of St. Nicholas of Bari and the Casa Carbonell, one of the city’s most beautiful buildings.

Hotel Bonalba is only 20 minutes away from Alicante International Airport. A taxi from Bonalba to the Airport will cost approximately £30. There are regular flights from UK major airports to Alicante and flight time from London to Alicante is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

    Nick at great article however you have the photos for the courses the wrong way round – the image with the bull is Alenda and the other Font de Llop – no one would notice though unless you lived here – thanks
