Since 1916, golf's greatest names have competed for the USPGA Championship's coveted Wanamaker Trophy. Past Champions include 2006 PGA Champion Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh, Davis Love III, Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead and Walter Hagen. The 91st PGA Championship will be the second time the event has visited Hazeltine, the previous time saw Rich Beem produce a stunning back nine charge to overhaul Tiger Woods in 2002.
The PGA Championship is one of world golf's four majors, and every year a fantastic field is assembled to take on some of the most spectacular courses in the United States. The tournament moves to a different venue every August, and has seen countless truly remarkable moments; who could forget Tiger's epic duel with a youthful Sergio Garcia at Medinah in 1999, or David Toms conquering the strongest field in golf history to set a major championship record of 15-under-par at Atlanta in 2001.
