The Belfry Reviews

"The golf courses were in great condition..."

by Nick

I visited the Belfry in November and had a fantastic time. The hospitality was outstanding, we were looked after so well for our whole trip. We were lucky enough to play on the historic Brabazon course, home to 4 Ryder Cups, although the weather was pretty chilly we had a great game and a superb meal in the Ryder Grill afterwards. I will most definitely go back for another golf break at The Belfry and would recommend it to all.

Celtic Manor Reviews

"Affordable and ticks all the boxes."

by Rory

Celtic Manor offers superb value for money in the form of three championship golf courses, good 5 star and 4 star options at the Resort Hotel and Manor accommodations, as well as a huge range of dining options and superb leisure facilities. The Roman Road and Montgomerie Courses are enjoyable and a bit more manageable than the Twenty Ten, which is the resort's ultimate championship experience, where you can soak up the Ryder Cup atmosphere, and the "member for a day" service.

Dona Filipa and San Lorenzo Reviews

"Great place for winter golf"

by Oliver

We had a great time at Dona Filipa for our golf holiday in December. The hotel is in a quiet part of the Algarve (Vale do Lobo) near to the airport and was well located for the beach and playing San Lorenzo and Vale do Lobo. Service was great and made to feel very welcome. San Lorenzo was probably the best course we've played in the Algarve with some great holes in great condition. Would recommend it.

La Manga Reviews

"Perfect place for golf"

by Aaron

This summer we visited La Manga for our third year running, having had 2 superb experiences previously. The hotel occupies a prime position within the resort and the convenience of only a short walk to the golf courses is a big advantage. For those wanting to venture further afield, there are plenty of other options within an hour's drive. The hotel has done an excellent job in retaining a clean and relatively high-end ambiance, both in terms of the restaurant / bar areas, in addition to the spacious bedrooms. The quality of the courses is a major attraction for our group of golfers with handicaps ranging from 8-18 and there is a good balance of challenging and forgiving holes across all of the courses. The West course is a little more challenging however that didn't detract from its excellent condition and stunning view overlooking the bay. And once the golf is done there are plenty of watering holes in the resort or if you like to venture a little further the local port is only a 10 minute drive and has great seafood restaurants and bars.
